The system features two stepped grates that move independently. During combustion, these grates adjust precisely to ensure an even firebed.

Both wood chips and miscanthus can be burned efficiently. For standard wood chips, only the rear de-ashing grate opens, allowing ash to fall while embers remain.

When the boiler is completely cold, a full cleaning process is initiated before ignition. Both grates open, removing cold ash and foreign objects such as stones or nails.

For fuels like miscanthus, the “Breaker Function” helps break down clinker and deposits, directing them into the ash auger for easy removal.
