Hargassner North America is pleased to announce that the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) has approved the company to supply boilers that are built in accordance with the requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. This is a significant step for Hargassner and its customers in North America. With ASME Hargassner’s boiler quality is now marked by a further important quality standard for the North American market in addition to EPA and CSA.
The ASME Certification Mark is an important standard in the engineering industry that ensures products meet the stringent safety and performance requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. The code contains rules for the construction of boilers and pressure vessels, including requirements for materials, design, fabrication, testing, inspection and stamping.
This certification is not only a sign of the quality of Hargassner boilers, but also a safety guarantee for its customers. Finally, it ensures that Hargassner boilers meet the highest standards of design, materials and performance, which is essential for operation in North America.
40 years of wood heating excellence
Hargassner boilers burn biomass – this can be wood chips, pellets or well-known logs. Wood chips are made of untreated residual wood, mainly waste wood, from domestic forests and the sawmill industry. 40 years after its foundation, the biomass specialists offer an individual range of biomass boilers scaled to meet almost every level of demand – from single-family homes up to large-scaled installations for farms, hotels and industry.
Systems for every heating requirement
The company offers solutions from 23 kW (78,500 BTU/h) to 330 kW (1,125,000 BTU/h) and in cascade set-ups (multiple boilers operating together) up to 2 MW (6,700,000 BTU/h). As a global player Hargassner boasts 40 years of experience building biomass boilers with more than 185,000 satisfied clients worldwide.
“With the ASME mark, our customers can be even more certain that they have chosen the best solutions for their heating requirements with Hargassner boilers. We are proud that our products now meet the requirements of the North American market and look forward to offering our customers first-class solutions.”
