Our Airflow-M air to water monobloc heat pump can be perfectly combined with Hargassner biomass boilers. Thanks to this synergy, you benefit from a hybrid heating system that optimally utilizes the advantages of both worlds. While the heat pump works effectively in the transitional period and on mild winter months, the biomass boiler provides support in extreme outdoor temperatures and guarantees constant cozy warmth. The heat pump controls the entire system and decides, based on energy cost and weather data, which heating system is the most efficient and cost-effective at the moment.
Through the fully automatic interaction, the efficiency and service life of both units are maximised, and the heating costs are simultaneously reduced to a minimum. This guarantees maximum savings and independence – especially in times of strongly fluctuating energy prices. In order to have the right solution ready for the most diverse requirements and demands, four combinations are available.
Ideal solution for passionate wood log heaters
This hybrid product offers fully automatic premium quality and maximum convenience. It’s ideal if you have your own wood available and appreciate the convenience of an automatic system. The heat pump recognises on its own whether the system has enough energy or if additional heat is required. The wood log boiler impresses with a large illuminated filling chamber, a large filling chamber door and an automatic boiler cleaning system.
The best price-performance ratio for occasional firewood operation
Hybrid systems for all those who like to heat wood themselves from time to time, but generally prefer to enjoy the benefits of a fully automatic heating system. The heat pump takes care of the main part of the heating period, while the Smart-HV is available as a low-cost wood log solution for extreme outdoor temperatures.

The combination of the Nano-PK pellet boiler and the AirPro heat pump is a fully automatic high-end hybrid solution. It guarantees both maximum comfort and maximum efficiency. This variant stands out with its compact size, an automatic pellet suction system and minimal maintenance requirements. It is ideal in detached houses and particularly suitable for renovation projects.
Optimal price for occasional pellet use
The combination of the automatic Smart-PK pellet boiler and the AirPro impresses by offering excellent value for money and a high level of convenience. The Smart-PK has an automatic ignition system and a large pellet storage hopper, but has a small and compact design at the same time. It is perfect if there is not enough space for a pellet storage system.
