Hargassner fuel extraction systems for industrial heating
Due to the large amount of heating material required for heat generation, biomass heating systems in the industrial sector require an agiation system that is ideally matched to the heating system. That’s the reason why one of the most important aspects in the implementation of a wood chip system is planning the fuel storage room and choosing the right fuel extraction system. No matter whether you operate a local heating plant, a catering business, a wood processing company or an industrial enterprise, Hargassner offers the right solution for the UK market and every customer.
Industrial fuel extraction system
3-blade system
for 250–400 kW
The 3-blade ECO fuel extraction system is the ideal solution for industrial customers, who need a nominal heat output of 250-400 kW and tend to have a small storage room diameter of 2-4 m. Used by thousands of customers, this system stands for longevity and reliability.
Industrial fuel extraction system
4-blade system
for 250–400 kW
The Hargassner Eco fuel extraction with 4-blades is intended for industrial heating systems with a power range of 250-400 kW and a storage room diameter of at least 4.5 m. This is the ideal application area for the exclusive Hargassner no-load disc, which impresses with its well-considered technical sophistication. The power-saving gear ratio of 1:25 shows that this fuel extraction stands for robustness and reliability. It is offered in diameters of 4.5 m and 5 m and is thus suitable for large wood chip storage solutions at nominal outputs of 250-400 kW. The highly efficient Eco fuel extraction spur gear, the modular design and the fact that no sloping floor is necessary are particularly noteworthy in this system.
Particularly worthy of mention in this system are the highly efficient Eco fuel extraction spur gear, the modular design and the fact that no sloping floor is necessary. This saves you costs and time in planning and implementation.
Industrial fuel extraction system
3-blade hinged arms
for 250–1.400 kW
The hinged spring blade fuel extraction system was specially developed for use in the industrial sector and impresses with its robustness, reliability and function. This considerably increases the maximum storage volume of wood chips. Three solid milling arms in the tried-andtested Hargassner design allow a clearing radius of up to 6 m diameter. It is also distinguished by its powerful fuel extraction spur gear. This technology, developed byHhargassner and optimised over decades, enables safe, fully automatic and convenient wood combustion.

Fuel extraction with moving floor
approx. 800–2.500 kW
Moving floor extraction is suitable for rectangular storage rooms in large boiler systems. Moving floors are equipped with one or more push rods depending on the volume of fuel material. This rod is moved back and forth by a hydraulic cylinder, which is installed outside Solid hydraulic cylinders to enable movement of moving floor Cross conveyor auger Ø 250 mm the storage room. The wedge shape of the carriers pushes the fuel towards the cross conveyor trough. The fuel is transported to the boiler by means of a cross conveyor auger.
Moving floor container
Moving floor containers provide mobile storage rooms. The fuel (wood chips or other bulk materials) is conveyed into the heating module by a moving floor. The containers are replaced by truck.
Silo extraction
For silo extractions, pendulum augers or hydraulic silo cutters are used. The fuel is conveyed into the boiler by augers.
