The Blackout frost protection module is specially designed for use with our monobloc heat pumps. The module consists of two elements: an electrical and a hydraulic module. Both modules can be mounted as one housing on the wall or separately.

In the event of a power cut or a fault that interrupts the operation of the circulation pump, and if the pipe temperature at the measuring point falls below 5°C, the frost protection module will automatically switch on the circulation pump for a few minutes. This pumps water from the building’s heating system to the heat pump’s heat exchanger, ensuring that your monobloc air to water heat pump is protected from frost even in the event of a power cut.
