Our solution
The outsourced biomass heating solution, which includes a Hargassner Eco-HK 50 kW boiler, along with a plant room for the new office complex at Oxfordshire’s garden centre, surpassed all expectations.
- Container solution for boiler and storage room: Wood chip heating module
- Heat supply and hot water preparation
- Accumulator 1,000 litres
- 50 kW power
When this forestry business and garden centre built a new office complex on the charming site in Oxfordshire, they enlisted Hargassner to supply and install a biomass boiler for the heating and hot water requirements. Working together with our design team, we installed a system that could comfortably deliver these heating requirements whilst being extremely user friendly and efficient.
A shipping container has been used to house the plant room and fuel store which are separated by an internal wall, this offers excellent efficiency in terms of space and the easy task of loading the chips means this boiler set up needs very little care and attention. The environmental impact of this initiative is significant, with an annual reduction of 88 tonnes of CO2 emissions, showcasing the commitment of this forestry business and garden centre to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
