When you enter Energy World via the main entrance, the bright green landscape on both sides immediately catches your eye. Multimedia displays welcome you before a light-filled hall with reception, waiting area and adjoining bar opens up to you. The seating under the real tree in the atrium or the “root bar” invite you to linger while a highly trained Hargassner employee is already on his way to you.
In the spacious product exhibition or in the showroom, you will get a compact overview of the comprehensive Hargassner range. During opening hours (Mon – Fri 7:30-12:00 and Mon – Thurs 13:00 – 16:30), an advisor will be on hand to provide you with information on technology and current subsidies.
Hargassner biomass world
What exactly is biomass? What are the benefits of biomass heating systems?
Answers to these and many other questions about sustainable energy can be found in the Biomass World of Experience on the ground floor of the Energy World.
Through dioramas, multi-screen installations, showcases and films, you will learn all about the climate and CO2 cycle, as well as the history of Hargassner from its foundation to the present day, including a creative illustration of Hargassner’s sponsoring activities – time flies! You will also get an overview of the wood and forestry industry and the various options for sustainable energy supply using biomass – from wood logs, wood chips and pellets to boilers in all output ranges.

Training centre
Only highly trained partners can provide Hargassner customers with the best possible support when purchasing, commissioning and maintaining their heating systems. For this reason, the Hargassner Academy has seminar and commissioning rooms with state-of-the-art presentation technology and even an in-house cinema.
The so-called training centre is an optimal training facility for Hargassner’s national and international partners as well as for all employees. After an instructive day of training, you can enjoy a drink in the “Wipfelbar” overlooking the Hargassner Energy Park.

It was one of the most important and momentous promises Anton Hargassner ever made.
Back in 1983, he promised his wife a more comfortable home. As the son of an agricultural business with a large forestry component,
he had worked with wood a lot and had learned to appreciate it as a valuable raw material – another fuel was out of the question.
