The Airflow-M air to water heat pump has won the prestigious Plus X Award in the Sanitary & Air Conditioning sector – in five categories: High Quality, Design, Ease of Use, Functionality and Ecology. Hargassner is once again setting the standard for modern, sustainable heating technology.

Hargassner secured first place with the project “Wood Energy Takes the Podium” and was once again honoured this year by the Austrian Biomass Association. Thanks to Hargassner’s mobile heating solution, the Ski Flying World Championships at Kulm were sustainably heated with biomass instead of the traditional heating oil. This major event achieved a reduction of 1,870 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.

The MTP Group Gold Medal is the most renowned Polish trade fair award, recognizing products distinguished in the market for their qualitative, innovative, technological, and functional qualities. The winners are selected by a prestigious group of experts.

After six previous awards, most recently in 2022, we are once again proud to have received the award from the state of Upper Austria and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management.

This time, our new Nano-PK 38-65 pellet boiler was honoured:

• Modern nano-pellet technology for higher output requirements (commercial, residential, public buildings)
• 7″ Touch 2.0 operating unit with intuitive operation
• Ember bed level control with lambda sensor and automatic fuel detection
• Integrated particle separator eCleaner optional and can be retrofitted at any time

Hargassner has been awarded the Austrian eco-label for wood heating systems (U37) for the third time since the first award in 2011 at ESPA Wels.

Hargassner took third place in the “Venue & Event” category at the SPOBIS Conference 2024 for sustainability in sport with its “Sustainable heating at the Kulm” project. By converting the tent heating to biomass, CO₂ emissions were reduced by 87 tonnes. This award underlines the international relevance of innovative biomass heating solutions for major sporting events.

For the installation of an extremely space-saving and efficient pellet heating system on the passenger ship “MS Mondseeland”, Hargassner was awarded the silver prize of the Austrian Biomass Association’s Wood Energy Award 2023 in the pellets category.

Hargassner is proud to have received the i n e o Award once again. This award, presented by the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce, honours companies with exemplary commitment to apprenticeship training.

TÜV AUSTRIA has again audited Hargassner’s consulting and service quality and certified it for the next three years. The focus of the auditors was on the expertise of Hargassner’s customer service with regard to customer concerns.

Patents are considered the ” strongest currency” in terms of the innovative strength of companies – officially certified inventive talent worthy of protection with the potential to drive competition. Every year, the Austrian Society for Consumer Studies (ÖGVS) presents an award to Austria’s most important innovation drivers. This year, biomass pioneer Hargassner received the Innovation Award in the field of “Thermal Processes and Apparatuses”. The company thus joins the ranks of the most highly renowned Austrian companies.

After 5 awards already (most recently in 2020), we were once again pleased to receive the award presented by the State of Upper Austria and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Environment.

This time, our MAGNO industrial heating series received the award.

• Fuel up to a moisture content of 60%

In the summer edition of the magazine “CHEFINFO”, Upper Austrian companies were compared and ranked according to their innovative strength in nine categories. In the category “Best Employer”, biomass pioneer Hargassner Heiztechnik from Weng can be pleased about a very good ranking among the top five of all compared companies and industries.

The innovative strength of the companies was assessed for various categories and with various criteria, e.g. number of patents, communication, research or sustainability. CHEFINFO writes among the criteria that make a company the best employer that it is also about a sense of fairness and trust as well as further training opportunities. Hargassner is the only company from the heating industry in this top field.

The Hargassner Group was able to secure the State Prize for “Environment and Energy” 2021 with the project “Emission reduction in modern biomass heating systems“. This prize is awarded every three years by the Ministry for Climate Protection and the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology.

The Austria Solar seal of quality will adorn our solar collectors for the next three years. It was awarded in December 2021 and is a funding condition for solar heating.

Awarded in the course of the Wels Energy Saving Fair 2011 for Hargassner’s environmentally friendly and low-emission products and awarded again in December 2021.

Anton Hargassner accepted the Quality Award of the Upper Austrian Business Association from Doris Hummer, Chairwoman of the Business Association.

With the JULIUS Award, Upper Austrian high-quality businesses are brought before the curtain, which with their commitment provide the basis for growth, employment and prosperity in our country.

This prize is awarded annually by the province of Upper Austria and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Environment.

Hargassner was awarded the “AdieuÖl” in the category “Hargassner employee campaign, own prize for change-enthusiastic installers, AdieuÖl major event planned” at the energy-saving fair in Wels.

i n e o is the award of the WKO of Upper Austria for companies with exemplary commitment to apprenticeship training. i n e o is a sign for outstanding training companies.

During the in-house exhibition and opening of Energy World in June 2019, State Councillor Doris Humer presented Anton Hargassner with the Upper Austrian Business Award for his life’s work. A standing ovation lasting several minutes crowned the award ceremony and moved the company founders Anton & Elisabeth Hargassner to tears.

The Plus X Award is the world’s largest innovation prize for technology, sport and lifestyle. It honours brands for the quality and innovative edge of their products.

The Energy Globe Award annually honours outstanding, sustainable projects in the field of environment and energy. The awards are presented at international level in the 5 categories Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Youth and the special category “Sustainable Plastics” and at national level.

The European Technical Institute for Wood Energy “ITEBE” has been organising an international energy trade fair in Lons le Saunier, France, since 1998. Companies from all European countries and from the USA show their heating technology developments here. This is a welcome opportunity to present oneself to an international audience of experts. This was also used. Hargassner was able to secure 1st place in the years 2000, 2002, 2007-2010, 2014, 2015 & 2017 respectively.

As part of Agraria 2016, the Hargassner company was awarded the Agrar-Fuchs for Combined heat power in cooperation with the Chamber of Agriculture for Upper Austria, the province of Upper Austria and the Austrian Farmers’ Newspaper.

Awarded by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber for outstanding services to the Austrian export industry.

The transnational award for “Sustainable Corporate Governance“. Hargassner was awarded in the category ‘over 100 employees’.
