2020: Hargassner is new climate protection partner
So we are now part of the German organization PLANT-MY-TREE, which has been carrying out reforestation projects – in Germany and other European countries – to offset CO₂ since 2009. Since 2020, we are now working together to improve the environment and climate protection according to the motto ‘Every tree counts’ and ‘Climate protection is fun’.
Sustainable tree planting on the areas, as well as planned project durations of at least 99 years, in which no deforestation or economic use is to take place, underline the long-term climate protection goals of PLANT-MY-TREE.
In the course of our 2019 in-house exhibition, we diligently collected money with our visitors to plant the first 340 trees in Germany.
2019: We improve our ecological footprint
In the coming years, we will increasingly support organizations that are working around the globe to replant forests. Whether in the tropical rainforest or just around the corner from us.
