Our solution
Our partner SHK Meisterbetrieb Rachel has realised a district heating system for two residential buildings in the Abenberg area in Germany.
- Eco-HK 50 kW
- 1 x accumulator tank 1,500 l
- 1 x Eco fuel extraction system
To provide heat for the two residential buildings, an Eco-HK wood chip boiler with a heating output of 50 kW was installed. The generated heat is distributed to the buildings via a local heating network. A 1,500-litre buffer tank was also integrated to store the heat efficiently.
This creates a central heating supply for approximately 200 m² of living space across two residential buildings. The system uses wood chips as fuel, replacing the use of heating oil or natural gas.
