A municipality relies on wood chips

project
The task
The requirements:
- Heating system with low fine dust pollution
- Heat supply for the community center and surrounding buildings
- Sustainable heating system
Our solution
Thanks to the new wood chip boiler, the community center and surrounding buildings are now supplied with sustainable heat.
- 1 x Eco-HK 120 kW incl. fine dust filter
- 3,000 litre heat storage tank
- 61 m³ large storage room
For the new community center in Vissoie in Switzerland, our partner installer Heitzmann AG installed an Eco-HK 120 kW including a fine dust filter. In addition, three 1,000 litre heat storage tanks and a 485 litre water heater were installed. The required wood chips are tipped into the 61 m³ storage room via a floor gate. The fuel is then transported by means of a spring core discharge (⌀ 5 m) via a 5.5 m transport screw to the feed screw at the boiler. Now the neighbouring buildings, such as the depot, fire station, police station and post office, can also be supplied with sustainable heat.
