Hargassner was presented with the prestigious award EnergieGenie 2026 for its newly developed Hybrid Package. This perfectly harmonised combination of modern heat pump technology, intelligent energy management, and highly efficient stratified storage sets new standards in sustainable heating. The jury particularly praised Hargassner’s systemic approach, which significantly increases the efficiency of modern hybrid heating systems.
Award for pioneering hybrid system
The award-winning Hybrid Package overcomes a key challenge in heating technology by achieving high COP values despite the integration of different heat sources. This is made possible by the new AirPro propane heat pump and the innovative HSS600 WP storage system, which minimises storage losses and ensures perfect temperature stratification. Both components were honoured even before the start of series production – a strong signal of quality and innovative strength.
Thanks to its unique design, the stratified storage cylinder can be seamlessly integrated with heat pumps, biomass, photovoltaics and other energy sources without any mixing, ensuring maximum efficiency.

The TouchPro control unit networks all energy sources to create an intelligent overall system. Using real-time weather data, PV surplus, variable electricity tariffs and the adaptive AI ‘Hargy’, it optimises energy consumption and sustainably reduces operating costs. Operation remains intuitive and simple.
2. HSS600 WP -
A-rated stratified storage tank
The HSS600 WP uses state-of-the-art stratified charging lances and special insulation technology. The result is ideal temperature stratification, minimal loss and maximum efficiency. The storage tank also acts as a hydraulic separator, enabling various heat generators — from pellets and wood logs to PV — to be flexibly integrated into the system.
