Hargassner invests in North America

After 20 years of doing business in Canada, Hargassner has made extensive
investments in the expansion of its local infrastructure on site.

Hargassner expands overseas

Hargassner has opened a new North American headquarters, invested in local warehousing and hired local staff. We offer biomass heating solutions in Canada and the USA from 32 to 330 kW and in cascade up to 2 MW. Our boilers are of course certified and approved by the American EPA and CSA for use in North America.

Our newest employee in North America: Peter Stewart in full swing

Peter Stewart has been our first official local sales representative in Canada since May 1. He is 57 years old, lives in Peggys Cove on the coast of Nova Scotia, and has worked for many years in Europe and Asia. Most recently, he worked for Carmichael Engineering.

This company builds heating plants across Canada (primarily gas and oil, but occasionally also biomass). The enthusiastic sailor has already broken one record: he is the employee of the Hargassner Group with the longest journey to the headquarters in Weng: 5,700 km, or 13 hours by plane.

Our bridge over the big pond

Peter’s main task is to support existing Hargassner customers in North America. He also serves as an important support for Stefan Kopp in the further expansion of Hargassner North America and the search for new, competent partners.
