The task
What requirements were placed on us:
- Heating system with a wood gasifier and accumulator tank
- Easy operation and maintenance
- Favourable fuel from wood logs
Our solution
The detached house is now supplied with heat from a Hargassner Smart-HV 17 kW wood gasifier in combination with a 1,000 L layered accumulator.
The family from Germany uses a biomass heating system with a wood gasifier and accumulator tank. The Smart-HV 17 kW wood gasifier uses modern gasifier technology for the combustion of wood logs. The required logs are stored directly under the carport, protected from the weather, well ventilated and easily accessible for the daily loading of the boiler.
During the cold months, the wood log heating system provides pleasant warmth using fuel wood from regional availability. A layered accumulator stores the generated energy and makes it available as required for the heating system and hot water preparation. In this way, the generated heating energy is used for the heating system and hot water preparation, and the boiler can be operated within its intended operating range.
