Back-end protections (type RAG)

Back-end protections (type RAG) direct the warm water of the flow of a heating system into the return. This reduces the temperature difference between the warm flow and the cooled return, which protects the boiler and ensures low-maintenance heating operation. Hargassner provides automatic back-end protection for wood log, pellet and wood chip boilers. It is used to automatically raise the return flow of the boiler while simultaneously loading an accumulator tank.
