project
The task
The requirements:
- Heat supply for the farm and three holiday flats
- Use of wood from the property as an energy source
- A simple, cost-effective and independent long-term heating solution
Our solution
By investing in a Hargassner wood log heating system, Friedrich Hinteregger is using the raw materials available on his property to generate heat.
- Wood log boiler HV 30 kW
- Heating control for 2 heating circuits
- RAG back-end protection
Friedrich Hinteregger, physiotherapist for the Norwegian men’s biathlon team, opted for a 30 kW Hargassner wood log boiler. In the Italian region of Marche, near Rimini, he runs the Ca’Rosei holiday home, a small farm with three holiday flats, nestled among vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees. After several years of clearing work on the estate, an enormous amount of wood had accumulated. To make good use of this wood, as well as other wood and wood residues generated on the property, as an energy source, he opted for a Hargassner wood log boiler.
The HV 30 kW wood log boiler now reliably supplies the owner’s home and the three holiday flats with heat. The boiler is equipped with a RAG back-end protection, automatic ignition and a control unit for two heating circuits. By using the wood available on his own property, Friedrich Hinteregger has taken another big step towards his goal of practising permaculture. The installation was carried out by Widmann, an experienced Hargassner partner and the regional representative in South Tyrol.
