Pellet boiler for detached house
Our part
in this
project
The task
The requirements:
- Heating system for a new detached house with 300 m² of living space
- Cooling function in summer
- Cost-effective heating system
Our solution
A hybrid solution consisting of a pellet boiler and heat pump was the best choice for the Schedl family. They can also cool their house in summer.
- Nano-PK 15 kW
- Storage room with 8,000 kg volume
- 1 x 1000 l layered hygienic accumulator
- Heat pump 12 kW
- 150 l defrost buffer
To heat their new detached house (2 x 150 m²), the Schedl family in Raach am Hochgebirge opted for a sustainable Nano-PK 15 kW with a 1,000 litre layered hygienic accumulator. The pellets are stored in a storage room with a volume of 8,000 kg and emptied using a 4-fold AUP.
A 12 kW Style heat pump with indoor unit serves as a hybrid solution. Thanks to a 150 litre defrost buffer, cooling is also possible in summer.
To minimise energy costs, a photovoltaic system with 11.5 kwp including 10 kW storage was also installed.
Heat circuits:
- 1 x bathroom radiator incl. floor heating in the shower
- 2 x floor heating
- 1 x ceiling cooling system (concrete core activation)
