As one of the first customers, Manfred Heizinger is once again relying on a heating system from Hargassner after 40 years.

Once a Hargassner, always a Hargassner

For 40 years, Hargassner has stood for innovative and reliable biomass heating. Heizinger Manfred from Eschenau in Upper Austria provides an impressive example of this quality and longevity. He was one of the first customers to install a Hargassner heating system back in 1984 – and it ran for around 100,000 hours until 2024.

At that time, it was still a combination of Lohberger boiler technology combined with Hargassner technology for utilising different forms of wood fuel. However, in order to benefit from the convenience of automatic filling and also to optimise the efficiency of heat generation, he has now opted for a new pellet boiler with automatic filling and control units.

The old heating system was one of Hargassner’s first projects, which was fed daily over the last few years, mainly with sawmill waste. Due to the reliable operation of the combi boiler, which also worked with logs and wood chips, Heizinger Manfred opted for a new Hargassner boiler, a model from the Nano PK series, in 2024. A new pellet store was also integrated to ensure automatic filling.
