Comfort meets flexibility

project
The task
The requirements:
- A reliable and efficient heat supply for around 250 m² of living space
- Flexible use of the fuel
- Individual control of different living areas
- Large pellet reserve to minimise refilling intervals
Our solution
In a detached house in Lower Austria, the Smart-Duo 23 with a 2,000 litre accumulator tank and two heat circuits provides convenient heating with wood logs and pellets.
- 1 x combination heater Smart-DUO 23 kW
- Top-mounted back-end protection
- 1 x 2,000 l layered accumulator with domestic hot water preparation
- 2 x heat circuits
A particularly flexible and sustainable heating solution was realised in a detached house in Lower Austria with a heated area of around 250 m². The centrepiece is the Smart-Duo 23, a powerful combi boiler that flexibly combines wood logs and pellets. This means that residents can choose between manual heating with logs and fully automatic pellet operation at any time.
For maximum efficiency and a long service life of the system, the Smart-Duo 23 has been equipped with a top-mounted back-end protection. The automatic pellet supply is provided by a GWT-Max 250×250 bag silo with a capacity of up to 7.6 tonnes of pellets – ideal for long refill intervals and maximum supply reliability.
An additional 2000-litre layered accumulator with integrated hot water heating ensures that the energy generated is optimally stored and used as required. Two separately controllable heat circuits allow the heat to be optimally distributed to the various areas of the house.
