Our solution
In a detached house, the Smart-Duo 20 with a 2,000 litre accumulator tank and two heat circuits ensures convenient heating with wood logs and pellets.

A modern and sustainable heating solution from Hargassner was installed in a spacious detached house with around 300 square metres of heated living space. The centrepiece of the system is the combi boiler Smart-Duo 20, a combination of log wood and pellet boiler that offers maximum flexibility and heating comfort.
For efficient and gentle combustion, the Smart-Duo 20 has been equipped with a back-end protection. The system uses a single-point extraction system for automatic pellet supply from an adjoining room. A separate log store was also installed. This means that wood logs are predominantly used for heating, while the pellets are used automatically when required or when the user is absent.
A 2000-litre layered accumulator and a separate hot water tank ensure reliable storage of the energy generated. Heat is distributed via two individually controllable heat circuits, which allow the temperature in different areas of the house to be adjusted as required.
