- Sustainable & independent heating
- Utilisation of residual waste
- Fail-safe system
Our solution
The Eco-HK 120 wood chip boiler fulfils all of Ebner Bau’s requirements for a sustainable heat supply.
- 1 x Eco-HK 120 kW
- 4,000 litre accumulator tank
- Cyclone ash separator
- 350 m³ storage space for wood chips
At Ebner Bau in the idyllic Mondseeland region, they not only build, but also heat in an innovative and sustainable way – with the power of a Hargassner Eco-HK 120 wood chip boiler. The system with a heating output of 120 kW reliably supplies the new 9,000 m² Ebner Bau facility with heat and impressively demonstrates how Hargassner technologies contribute to energy efficiency. All offices and production halls are heated exclusively with wood waste from the company’s own carpentry workshop – a perfect combination of sustainability and efficiency, which conserves resources and minimises heating costs.
A 4,000-litre accumulator tank has been integrated to ensure that the heat requirement is always optimally covered and that the energy supply is consistent. The wood chips, which consist of wood shavings and shredded wood waste, are transported directly from the production machines to a spacious storage room via an extraction system.
As the wood chips at Ebner Bau contain particularly fine particles due to the production processes, the heating system was equipped with an additional ash separator, the cyclone. This special filter effectively separates the fine dust and ash particles before the material enters the heating process. This guarantees an even fuel supply, prevents tunnelling in the store and ensures uninterrupted operation.
